WIEGA

Warwick Institute of Education Graduate Researcher Association (WIEGA) is a student led and student run group that aims to integrate and unite postgraduate researchers working within WIE.

We would like to keep an ongoing process to identify and to meet the needs and desires of graduates studying in the WIE while we work together to establish a postgraduate community.

There are opportunities to develop partnership amongst doctoral researchers, with the department and the wider academic community. Here, look what we offer on the communication theme.

We also provide opportunities for rehersal, for example, there are opportunities to present our work to a friendly and knowledgeable audience of doctoral students through the symposiums (twice a year) and the seminars; and also to publish while we carry out our doctorate studies through the working papers (once a year).

On another note, we would like to provide opportunities to socialise amongst doctoral students by organising meetings and social events.

We are keen in hearing what you have to say so your suggestions and ideas are welcome!
