    PGCE - Advice and Information for Prospective Applicants

    Entry requirements:

    You are eligible to apply for an ITE course at Warwick if:

    1. You have graduated, or are about to graduate from a British university or College of Higher Education, normally with at least a second class honours degree or you are an overseas student with a qualification recognised as equivalent to a British second class honours degree; Please note that some courses require at least a 2:1 honours degree, or an equivalent.

    2. On application you hold at least Grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics. Early Years and Primary candidates will also need at least Grade C in GCSE Science. Other qualifications may be approved as equivalent. If you do not fulfil these requirements on application but have a strong ambition to become a teacher you should contact us for further advice and guidance: pgce@warwick.ac.uk
