    MultiMedia CeNTRE

Centre for New Technologies Research in Education (CeNTRE) opened in October 1998 as a leading centre for teaching, development and research in Information and Communication in Technology (ICT).

The Multimedia CeNTRE is set up to resemble the type of computer network currently available in schools. We want students to be able to access ICT in a readily-available, easy-to-use & supportive environment that mirrors what they will find in schools both in terms of the network itself and the software available.

Support and advice on using the computers, software and peripherals are available from the CeNTRE office and we hope that the model of support we provide will be a useful starting point for students to emulate in schools.
