    Research interests

    Alice’s research interests include young people’s attitudes toward religious diversity, and the use of religious education materials in schools.

    Background

    Alice graduated from University of Wales, Bangor with a degree in Theology and began her academic career as a research assistant within the Warwick Religions and Education Research Unit, University of Warwick in January 2009. On 1st October 2009 she began her doctoral research on Young Peoples Attitudes toward Religious diversity, working as part of the AHRC/ESRC funded project (Religion and Society Programme).

    Research projects

    She is currently working on the following project:

    (with Professor Robert Jackson, Professor Eleanor Nesbitt, Dr Mandy Robbins, Professor Leslie J Francis, Dr Ursula McKenna, Dr Elisabeth Arweck, Dr Julia Ipgrave) Young People’s Attitudes to Religious Diversity (AHRC)

    She previously worked on:

    (with Professor Robert Jackson, Dr Mandy Robbins, Professor Leslie J Francis, Dr Ursula McKenna) Materials used in schools to teach world religions (Department for Children, Schools and Families)
