Essay 2 (2006): Teacher, meta-teaching and constructivisms.
The essay tries to answer the question: "Is the idea of teching incompatible with radical constructivism? Does social constructivism succeed in reconciling individual cognition with social teaching practices?"
Foundation Research Methods
Both essays are concerned with the issue of context in the classroom. The first one describes a research project aimed at pinpointing the differences between the exam and the lesson contexts, the second one analyses data from this research. They should be put online in late January, hopefully along with raw data.
