Thank you for your donations

Dear friends,

In 2008 we set a target of raising £50 million to invest in research and teaching by the end of our 50th anniversary year. Last month we revealed that we outstripped that target and 12,000 donors like you have come together to give £73 million since the Campaign began.

That's an amazing collective effort which has gone into tackling real-world problems from battling cancer to improving education in Africa. Your support is changing lives every day, and I hope this latest e-newsletter and our brand new website show you how.

Thank you for your support.

With my best wishes
Katharine

Latest reports from Warwick in Africa

Our 2015 Volunteer Teachers are now all safely home from Africa, but the legacy they have left behind will be there for a long time to come. As one student said: ‘Miss, please don't ever leave, I've had such a great day! Can I have some homework?'

New scholars starting out at Warwick

21 new Benefactors' scholars have started their studies at Warwick this year. Ellie Stepaniuk (first year, Chemistry) said: "I never thought that there would be so much support." This is all down to donors like you - thank you!

Living well with and beyond cancer

Professor Annie Young at Warwick Medical School is trialling new programme for cancer survivors to identify whether nutritional advice, psychological care and exercise - all lifestyle changes - can make a difference to long term physical and mental recovery.
Supporting parents

Your donations to recurrent miscarriage at Warwick help Professor Siobhan Quenby's research to have an over 60% success rate so far. Sadly we know that a pregnancy is only a promise of a child, and during Baby Loss Awareness Week, October 2015, we stood with those who have lost theirs.
