Warwick in Africa in action!

"You’ve got 55 children crowded in a room, and they're sitting on chairs with nails sticking out of them. It’s just you and a chalkboard - but they’re so keen to learn.”

Thanks to your donations, over 60 Student Volunteer Teachers and 15 Master Class Teachers are getting ready for the tenth summer of teaching maths and English in Africa!

They’ll be travelling out to classrooms across Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa this July and August.

The Cancer Research Team at Warwick

That's right, we're giving cancer a right dressing down at Warwick, and a run for it's money too!

It's probably a bit surprising to see a Christmas picture in a spring newsletter, but we think it's too good a photo not to share.

This is our Cancer Research Unit who gathered to say "thank you" to Warwick staff and donors who raised £2,000 in our recent dress-down day.

Meet the team and learn more about how they're fighting cancer at Warwick!

Donations support research into preventing recurrent miscarriage at Warwick, and we've helped 60% of patients to a successful pregnancy, with 50 live births and 100 ongoing pregnancies so far. Our next trial will hopefully raise that to 80%!
What if we could predict postnatal depression?

Thank you to the James Tudor Trust, who are helping researchers at Warwick to find ways to predict postnatal depression before it even begins, helping mums, babies and families alike.
Why do students and staff #LoveWarwickUni?

Over 750 students and staff members popped along to our promotion stands in February to write you a note to say thank you for supporting everything they love Warwick!

What if you left a legacy to Warwick?

Legacies do amazing things on campus, like the recent gift from the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust which is leading to better food security for everyone.

Could you leave a gift in your will too?
