Where the Need is Greatest
Ongoing support towards the areas of greatest need is vital in helping Warwick to maintain its world class standards in teaching, learning and research. Gifts in this area can make an immediate difference and also help to secure our long term future.
Unrestricted Fund
Gifts directed towards the Unrestricted Fund help us to ensure that we have funds available to benefit priority areas across the University. Such gifts are particularly valuable as they give us the ability to respond flexibly and to allocate funds where they are needed most at the time they are received. Many of our Warwick Benefactors choose to direct their gifts in this way, demonstrating the importance they place on supporting pressing requirements across the University. Unrestricted donations also allow us to take advantage of new opportunities, which we may otherwise have to forego.
In recent years, unrestricted funds have enabled the provision of additional undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships, along with allowing further contributions towards hardship funds for students in unforeseen financial difficulty.
Endowment Fund
With the ongoing pressures regarding funding, Warwick must plan carefully in order to secure its long term future. Increasing our endowment funds will allow Warwick to become more independent and thus compete with peer institutions in the UK and internationally.
As endowment funds grow they will, in the future, provide a permanent source of income for some of Warwick's priorities. Contributing to the Endowment Fund allows you to play your part in shaping Warwick's future for the benefit of generations to come.
Warwick gave me so much it is now my opportunity to give something back. [...] Any donation is your way of saying thank you for all that you received from Warwick.
