Global Partnership Fund 2017-18 is now open

The University’s partnership funds have supported collaborations across the globe in key developed and emerging research economies including Indonesia, China, India, USA and Singapore. They are intended to encourage partnerships that will lead to the development of important global research collaborations.

The Global Partnership Fund, administered by Global Engagement, is only open to applications for collaborations with China, Indonesia, S. Korea, India and Singapore. Priority will be given to proposed partnerships wih the following institutions:

China: Fudan, Shanghai Jiao Tong, Sun Yat-sen, Tsinghua, Peking University, HKUST, CUHK

Indonesia: Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Indonesia (UI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI)

South Korea: KAIST, Seoul National University (SNU)

India: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi University, TISS Mumbai, IIT (Bombay and Madras), Shiv Nadar University, Ashoka University

Singapore: Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS)

How to apply

Applications will be reviewed by an academic panel chaired by Professor Lawrence Young. Awards will be made up to the value of £5000 per year for up to two years (2017-18 and 2018-19), and first year funds have to be spent before 31 July 2018.

The deadline for these applications is 3 April 2017 and the final outcome will be communicated to all applicants by 30 June 2017.
