Michael Boxwell is a natural innovator. He worked on the project team that developed the first Windows-based smart phone, was the first to use lithium-ion batteries in a laptop computer, worked on electric vehicle programmes since 2003 and has been developing next generation technology ever since. Most recently, Michael developed the Battery LITE energy storage system – the best-selling residential solar battery storage systems in the UK.

He is the author of several books including the best-selling Solar Electricity Handbook, which has sold almost 100,000 copies and is used by Universities worldwide, to teach about renewable energy.
