Collaborative sandpit for PhD students and early career researchers

The Wolfson Research Exchange are seeking expressions of interest from later stage PhD students and early career researchers for involvement in a collaborative sandpit event. The collaborative sandpit will be a full two day event dedicated to develop new and creative interdisciplinary research proposals, with the three best proposals being awarded £5,000 each, to support the subsequent development of the projects.

This interactive workshop and intensive discussion forum, will be held by Dr Peter Hedges (Director of the Research Support Services, and assisted by a number of Senior Academics and the Wolfson Research Exchange, Library.

Applicants need to submit an expression of interest by 3pm on Monday 3 December 2012, selecting a theme and outlining their contribution to the sandpit. Applications will be reviewed and 25 successful candidates invited to participate in the sandpit event.
