Freshers Fortnight and Freshers Party 2011
New students will be welcomed to Warwick with a fortnight of activities taking place from Saturday 1 October. Events kick off with the Freshers Fair and Welcome Party over two days, and continue with everything from live music and dance to societies’ fairs and book sales.
The centrepiece will be the Freshers Party on Thursday 13 October, when the Copper Rooms in the Students' Union building will be transformed into the Moulin Rouge, complete with live music, costumed performers and spectacular décor.
During the week you can also find out how to get involved in running the union at the democracy fair, join over 250 societies and discover volunteering opportunities.
International students can take part in the international orientation programme from Tuesday 27 September – Friday 30 September. Information sessions, interactive seminars, social events and trips to welcome students to Warwick and to the UK and help them start to adjust to living at the University.
