Gibbet Hill Road: one lane only 17 20 December 2013
Update: 19 December 2013
The temporary traffic lights have now been removed, ahead of schedule, with the road open as usual.
Update: 29 November 2013
Gibbet Hill Road will now only be restricted to one lane from Tuesday 17 to Friday 20 December, rather than the longer period previously stated.
Original message:
Gibbet Hill Road will be restricted to one lane with temporary traffic lights in place just after the Cryfield roundabout from Monday 9 to Friday 20 December 2013. These works are part of the University’s work to create a new energy centre on campus in 2014, which will play a big part in reducing Warwick’s carbon emissions.
If there are any updates to this, we'll post them here.
The map below shows the location of the works, and a couple of suggested diversions if you'd like to get to the other side of campus without driving down Gibbet Hill Road.
