IGGY Debating Competition winner

In October IGGY and the University launched a competition to find a young person who could join a live debate at the British Library. We are delighted to announce the winner for the Debating Competition as Annissa Warsame who submitted a creative, thought provoking, passionate and informed video entry answering the question 'Do you think university is open to all?' You can watch Annissa's video entry below.

The judges were extremely impressed with Annissa's submission and felt that she would be an excellent addition to the high profile panel for the Inaugural University of Warwick Global Social Mobility Debate. Find out more about the Global Social Mobility Debate.

Annissa is a member of UniTracks which is the University of Warwick's Young Achiever's Programme for gifted and talented 14 - 18 year olds. She will join the panel on 13 November at the British Library in London to discuss the theme of ‘UK Universities, access and the global social mobility challenge’.

If you are in any doubt about the incredible talent, passion, confidence and creativity of IGGY members just take a few moments to watch the submissions, from runners up and shortlisted entrants here.
