Impact Acceleration Account awarded to Social Sciences

Warwick has recently secured an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) from the Economic and Social Research Council. This is an important strategic development for social sciences here at Warwick, which will enable them to create a step-change in their approach to impact.

The award is worth £760k in total, and runs from 1st July 2014 – 31st March 2018 and will offer opportunities for realising impact from excellent research from across the social sciences community in the University.

The IAA will support a comprehensive portfolio of activities and resources across the Faculty of Social Sciences, which will maximise the potential for impact from social science research. They will do this through five pathways; Exchanges, Mobilisation, Training, Translation and Responsive.

For more information about the Impact Acceleration Account see the Faculty of Social Science website or if you have any queries please contact Ronni Littlewood, Faculty Impact Officer on v dot r dot littlewood at warwick dot ac dot uk.
