    Carpark 10b and Footpath Closure

Preparatory work has begun on a £17 million project to construct a new science building on campus. The new building will house material and analytical science research, encouraging interdisciplinary science projects.

During the period of construction Car Park 10b will be closed. The University requested permission from Coventry City Council to establish access to the site directly from Gibbet Hill Road and this has now been implemented.

The footpath that links Car Park 10b and the rear of the Ramphal building is completely enclosed within the construction site and is therefore out of use. The main pedestrian links during the works are via Gibbet Hill Road or University Road.

The project is due for completion in the Autumn Term 2011.

Further information will be posted on insite and included in inbox insite as soon as it is available.
