Get involved in our Open Days

Staff are invited to help welcome visitors to campus at our next Open Day on Saturday 24 October 2015.

We’re expecting thousands of visitors, primarily Year 12 students considering Warwick as an undergraduate option and their supporters, who will be able to find out what it is like to study and live here. Open Days play a big role in helping applicants make their decisions.

How you can help

We need your help to create a successful University-wide event. There are a variety of roles, each of which offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a large and busy event designed to showcase Warwick to our prospective students and their supporters.

Roles include the coordination of student ambassadors, directing visitors and managing entry to sessions. Support is needed from 8am to 5pm on the day, and you’ll need to attend a one hour briefing session at 11am on Tuesday 20 October in CMR 1.0, University House.

Interested, but want to know more? Find out what's involved behind the scenes from some of the people who help to make it all happen and have a look at the storify for our September Open day.

If you'd like to take part, please discuss this with your line manager before signing up. Staff on grades 1-5 will be paid for any hours worked over their normal working hours for the Friday. Staff on grades 1-5 working the Saturday will be paid time-and-a-half by the Student Admissions and Recruitment Office. Grades 6-8 may be offered time off in lieu for Saturday, if agreed in advance with line managers.

Future open days

We will be running Departmental Open Days in Spring 2016.
