The Students’ Union Atrium has been given a makeover, with the addition of new seating and more colour to brighten the area up.

The changes, in response from feedback from students, include displaying the SU’s mission and vision, along with prominent photos of the Sabbatical Officers. A new blackboard has been installed for feedback on the SU.

Rehearsal space

Student societies are also benefiting from a new rehearsal space in the Students’ Union, which opened at the start of term.

The room has been furnished for free by IKEA, thanks to a sponsorship deal secured by the Sabbatical team and Students Union Marketing department. The IKEA Membership Space is located next to the Pharmacy in the SU and is equipped with a wall of full body mirrors, chairs, music stands, a sofa, paintings and more. There’s even a piano, kindly donated by the Music Centre.
