Congratulations to Professor Tim Jones on his new appointment
It has been announced today that Warwick’s acting Provost Professor Tim Jones has been appointed to the role of Provost at the University of Birmingham. He will take up his new role on 1st September.
Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Stuart Croft said:
While we are losing Tim to another university Birmingham is an increasingly important regional partner for Warwick. I, and many other Warwick colleagues, look forward to continuing to work closely with Tim on key Midlands programmes and partnerships such as: the Midlands Engine; Midlands Innovation; the Energy Research Accelerator (ERA); and the many other developments that are likely to result from the ever increasing co-operation across Midlands universities and local authorities."
