UniCycles at Warwick

UniCycles at Warwick, run in partnership with nextbike, is a bike hire scheme available to all staff and students.

From Saturday 3 October you can hire a bike from any of our 9 campus-based UniCycles stations at any time. There are options to pay-as-you-go, or, if you’re likely to become a regular user, an annual subscription for reduced hire charges.

The bikes are available for short hops to help you get to your meetings on time, or for a longer stretch of time if you want to get off campus and explore the local area.

Five awesome campus green spots to visit

While you’re out and about on your bike, why not take the time to check out these 5 gorgeous green spots?

  1. Tocil woods: between central campus and Gibbet Hill this area has so much greenery to offer
  2. Connect 2 Kenilwoth cycle route: runs from near the Cryfield Sports pavilion to Kenilworth through the Warwickshire countryside
  3. Tocil lakes: Just south of the Health Centre these lakes are home to lots of wildlife
  4. Whitefield coppice: A pleasant wooded area, off to the side of Scarman/Leighfield Road
  5. Lakeside/Heronbank: A lovely lake sits between these residences, with ducks, swans and geese.
