Warwick’s THES world ranking

In addition to recent UK rankings, Warwick has recently received further league table success – this time in world-wide positioning.

One of Warwick’s goals in the University Strategy is to be in the top 50 of world universities by 2015 and The Times Higher Education Supplement (THES) has ranked Warwick at 57 in its world-wide rankings. In 2006, The THES placed Warwick at 73.

However, it is important to realise that although this is good news for Warwick, such tables can be deceptive and there is still a tremendous amount of work to do to secure top placings in all of the world’s university league tables.

The Sunday Times recently placed Warwick in 7th place across the UK and first in the Midlands.
