Third Annual Arts Impact Award

Sarah RichardsonCongratulations to the History Department's Sarah Richardson, this year's recipient of the third annual arts impact award. Sarah regularly appears in the media on shows such as Who do you think you are? and BBC Radio 4 Document bringing her research on women in nineteenth-century British politics to mass audiences. She also contributes to policy iniatives through History & Policy and Friends of the Earth, who aim to map a route from planet in peril to world of well-being, including women's empowerment.

The award was presented at the faculty’s year end lunch on 19 June 2013.
