Additional Stagecoach Buses at Peak Times
Stagecoach and Environment Manager Nick Hillard have been monitoring the U1 bus service from Leamington Spa to campus since the start of term. As a result of this monitoring, Stagecoach have agreed to put on additional buses at peak times.

Professor Yvonne Carter
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor Yvonne Carter. Yvonne passed away in the early hours of 20 October after losing her battle with breast cancer, aged 50. Well-known and loved as Dean of Warwick Medical School from 2004 to 2009, and Pro-Vice Chancellor for the University of Warwick from 2007-2009, Yvonne was also one of the best known medical academics of recent times.

In the light of the number of strategic issues facing the University presently, I am taking the opportunity of advising you now of some key areas of responsibility for senior colleagues during the coming Academic Year.
At its meeting on 8th July, the University Council confirmed the recommendation that we move to create a School of Life Sciences within the Faculty of Science, integrating the department of Biological Sciences and Warwick HRI. Professor Yvonne Carter has retired as Dean of Warwick Medical School and Professor Howard Thomas has tendered his resignation to become Professor and Dean of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University. This provides us with a series of academic challenges which, in the short-term, will be addressed as follows:
