In response to feedback from staff and a review of the new bus services, introduced on 4 April 2011, the University has agreed some changes with De Courcey Travel, which will be implemented from Monday 16 May and Monday 23 May 2011. The University is also working on some other enhancements to the services, but these will not be implemented until Monday 4 July 2011.

The key changes from Monday 16 May are in response to feedback from Warwick Accommodation staff who requested that the W4, W5 and W6 services arrive on main campus 10 minutes earlier than the current timetable.

Other changes from Monday 16 and 23 May include the W1 operating a 30 minute service between Coventry City centre and main campus, a change of route via Earlsdon and Hearsall Common, and a change of timetable and route for the W3 service.

Please note - the above timetables have changed slightly since first posted on Wednesday 11 May 2011.

All other services remain unchanged.

Details of all the changes from 16 and 23 May are given below. De Courcey Travel will also be informing the current passengers via the driver as well as handing out copies of the revised timetables on the buses.

Changes from Monday 16 May 2011

• 6:40am UW1 to start at 6:50am calling at Railway Station at 6:55am arriving 7:12am at University, 7:25am Tile Hill Terminus (Torrington Ave) then does 7:30am return back to University
• W4 starts earlier to get staff on site for 8:40am.
• W5 starts earlier to get staff on site for 8:40am, and now operates via Earlsdon Ave North/Hearsall Common/A45 NOT Kenilworth Rd
• W6 starts earlier to get staff on site for 8:40am, but no longer serves Watery Lane. Re-timed due to route change.

Changes from Monday 23 May 2011

• Increase frequency on W1 to 30 minute service between Coventry City centre and main campus. Also route changed to operate via Earlsdon Ave North/Hearsall Common,
• Revised journey on W8, no longer serves City Centre/Earlsdon, operates from Radford via Four Pounds Ave and then via Hearsall Common.
• W3/W5 will add extra journeys to W1 (clockwise) from City via Earlsdon to University
• W52 at 1240 withdrawn from service. Passengers for Sir Henry Parkes Rd should use 43W and passengers for Wood End should use W3
• W53 at 1410 withdrawn from service due to low patronage, One passenger for Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital, should use W1 to City Centre at 1:15pm/2:15pm (timed at Rootes Bus Stop)
