Wanted: Wool for Wool Wall

The Mead Gallery are running a knit, stitch and crochet club on Thursday evenings during the next Mead Gallery Exhibition and are looking for contributions of wool to create a ‘wool wall’.

Throughout the Anni Albers: Design Pioneer and Hubert Dalwood: Landscape into Sculpture exhibitions, various knitting projects will hang from the white wall in the Mead. People will be invited to come and add their knitting or crochet to the project, signing the wall to say they’ve contributed.

The Knit, Stitch and Crochet Club will take place from Thursday 12 May to Thursday 16 June from 6pm to 7pm in the Mead Gallery. Bring your sewing, knitting or crochet projects along and have a cup of tea and a chat whilst getting creative. More information is available at http://www.warwickartscentre.co.uk/news/blogs/mead_gallery/knit-stitch-and-crochet-club/

Please bring any donations of wool and needles/hooks to the Box Office in the Arts Centre, marked for the attention of Emma O’Brien, Mead Gallery.
