    HSBC Bank closure

After a comprehensive review of branch operations and commercial viability, HSBC have decided to merge their University and Tile Hill branches with their flagship branch at 55 Corporation Street, Coventry which has recently been refurbished.

In light of this, HSBC has decided not to renew their lease with the University, which ends of 30 September, and therefore the University branch will close when the current agreement ends at close of business on that day .

Anyone holding an account at the University will automatically be transferred to Corporation Street. The sort code and account number will remain the same and HSBC customers can use any other branches. The nearest alternative branches are 26 Earlsdon Street, Coventry or Balsall Common, both of which have external cash machines.

In addition, there are Natwest and Barclays cash machines at the University.
