Information for students

Over one third of students come to study at Warwick from outside the UK. We therefore have a lot of experience in supporting students joining us from overseas. Details on services available to international students can be found on the International Office section of the website

International Collaboration

Collaborating with other universities and sharing knowledge and resources with universities and academic communities throughout the world is an important part of Warwick’s international mission. Warwick has invested significantly in the development of international research collaborations.

Warwick also has long-standing exchange programmes with prestigious universities in more than 40 countries around the world, located in Europe, North America, South America, Australasia and East Asia.

Two significant international alliances developed at Warwick including the Monash Warwick Alliance and the Center for Urban Science and Progress (USA):

The University of Warwick (UK) and Monash University (Australia) have signed a new agreement to create an alliance between the two universities that will clearly establish both as “globally connected Universities”.

The Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) is an applied science research institute which is a partnership of top institutions from around the globe, led by NYU and NYU-Poly with a consortium of world-class universities including Warwick.

Global Research Priorities

As a research-intensive University with a mandate to respond to the world's most challenging problems, the GRPs programme provides a focus for multidisciplinary research in key areas of international significance. From food to sustainable cities, from energy to innovative manufacturing, the GRPs provide a platform from which Warwick can make a globally distinctive contribution.

International Partnerships Team

Based within the University's International Office the partnerships team supports the development of the University’s relationships with overseas partners including universities, governments, and research funding bodies.
