Led by Dr. Mark Swift the team offers expertise in a range of technologies and is here to help SMEs in the West Midlands gain competitive advantage from accessing the Digital Lab Knowledge Exchange programme. Through their Knowledge Transfer services, linked in directly to the research base and emerging technologies they can help your business succeed.

The Knowledge Exchange Team offer the following services for small businesses:

  • Regular seminars, workshops and events tailored to best practice needs
  • Access to new business opportunities and partnerships through the collaborative marketplace
  • Access to internationally leading research teams in multidisciplinary areas
  • Support launching a product or providing a demonstrator for your customers
  • Networking opportunities

The team also supports businesses to access funding and can help enhance your skill base with high calibre Warwick graduates through MSc, PHD and Knowledge Transfer programmes.

In these tough times where ROI and sweating the assets are paramount we need methods and solutions for delivering good business information without spending on even more technology.
If you cannot afford to invest in data warehouses and data mining technologies you can still achieve optimum benefit from your data by ensuring its accuracy, relevance and currency.

On 17 March 2011, the International Digital Laboratory in association with ATP is holding a one day, hands on, intensive workshop for senior managers and directors. The workshop will explore and investigate ways and means to ensure your data becomes a significant weapon in your business armoury.

Attendees will come away with an action plan for improving their bottom line by applying the concepts they learn during the day. There will be time for individual discussion and focussing on specific sectors, businesses or issues.

If you are an innovative SME with products for the health care sector, come along to find funding or industry collaborators. Get free advice to help you break into the healthcare sector.

For the past year, Innovation Factory and WMG Digital have brought innovation to the healthcare sector with a series of Innovating for Healthcare workshops.

To mark the successes of this project, we are inviting SMEs interested in the health sector to join us and various funding and venture capital bodies for an afternoon of presentations, pitches and networking.

The most succesful companies from the project will be pitching their business plans in front of funders. They are great case studies for how to grow your innovative business into the health sector.
