The University of Warwick will be hosting Sport Relief's Coventry Mile event on Sunday 21 March. The day, organised by Warwick Sport will offer a beautifully scenic cross country course for the 3 and 6 mile events and a 1 mile wheelchair friendly event around the residences of Lakeside and Heronbank.

The money raised will go to Comic Relief, helping poor and vulnerable people both at home and overseas. If you would like to take part, entry is open on the Coventry Mile website.

There will be an optional warm up for all participants as well as refreshments and entertainment in Cryfield Sports Pavilion which offers beautiful views of the Warwickshire countryside.

The day will begin at 9:30am with the 3 and 6 mile courses starting at 10:00am. Start times for the 1 mile course will be at 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30pm and 1:15pm.

Volunteers Needed

If you’d like to help out with the event, Warwick Sport are looking for volunteers to help with marshalling, giving out medals and goodie bags, staffing information points, helping lost children and cleaning up.
