Warwick University Drama Society's production of The Skriker has received several awards and commendations at the National Student Drama Festival, Scarborough. The production was sponsored by the CAPITAL Centre for its performances both at Warwick and Scarborough.

The awards include:

• Winner of best ensemble
• Timothy West Acting Award for Rachel King (for her performance in the role of the Skriker)
• Commendation in Directing for Kim Pearce and Liz Sands
• Commendations in Acting for Lotte Allan and Zoe 'Bob' Roberts
• Commendation for WUDS for its overall drama activities this year

This marks a real progression from WUDS success last year when The Night Heron achieved three commendations for acting and is an acknowledgment of the Drama Society's success this year.
