Paris Prize Shows Theres Some Hope for Anglo French Relations
At a time when Anglo French understanding is probably at its
lowest in some time - at least in the political sphere - University
of Warwick history Professor Colin Jones has just been awarded Enid
McLeod Literary Prize by the Franco-British Society for the book of
2004 which did most to enhance Franco-British understanding. The
prize was awarded for his book, Paris, Biography of a City
published by Penguin books ISBN 0 713 99321 9.
