University Stacks Three TUC General Secretaries with 160 Cubic Metres of Boxes

The University of Warwick's Modern Records Centre is to mark the launch of a huge collection of TUC archives with a special launch event on Thursday 27th October at 6.30pm which will be attended by no less then 3 current or former TUC General Secretaries - Brendan Barber, Norman Willis and John Monk.

The University now holds over 160 cubic metres of TUC archives covering the period 1920 -1991. The University's archivist is delighted to now also have 3 TUC general secretaries in the Modern Records Centre - however she has been told that while she can keep the files she can't index and keep the General Secretaries and she has to let them leave at the end of the evening.

Photo Opportunity: the event will take place at 6.30pm in the Modern Records Centre, University of Warwick. Press are welcome.
