Warwick Robot Football Team Backs Children In Need


A robot football team at the University of Warwick are supporting Children In Need by offering a special "Robot Football" day for up to 5 people to come and spend a day at the University of Warwick (23rd November) watching and playing robot football on the Children in Need Big Bid Auction.

The student robot football team brings together some of the University's brightest engineering students to create a team of robot footballers using all they have learned about machine vision, computer controls, robot movement to create a team that competes against other University team in the annual UK Robot football championships.

Anyone wishing to bid for this opportunity and support Children In Need should go to ebay's "The Great Big Bid" pages from Friday 18th - Sunday 20th November and search for "Robot Football".
