Lecturers students vote him to national teaching award
Economics Professor Robin Naylor has won the Higher Education Academy Student Nominated Teaching Award.
HEA Director John Sloman said: "This award provides an opportunity for economics students to identify and honour the most inspiring and dedicated teaching staff in their department.
"The judging panel looked for teaching which challenged and motivated students towards academic excellence."
Robin has worked at the University of Warwick for 21 years. He lives in Coventry with his wife Dr Jianna Boero and his two children. However, he still does not know which of his 450 students nominated him for the award, but says he feels very honoured.
Robin said: "I try to be very inclusive in my style of lecturing, so that all my students feel as though their input is valued. I'm also really enthusiastic about my subject, which still never ceases to fascinate me."
