Biography

Eleonora Belfiore is Associate Professor of Cultural Policy. She is a humanities scholar, with a background in classics and Italian literature, and her research has consistently focused on the development of a humanities-based, but also highly interdisciplinary, approach to the study of cultural policies and cultural politics.

She is passionate about public engagement, and to the notion that research comes alive in conversations and interactions with people, both within and beyond the academy. She is committed to taking her research out of the university into the world of practice and policy-making.
