Warwick Commission launch report in Geneva

On Thursday 6th December, the Warwick Commission launched their report 'The Multilateral Trading System; Which Way Forward?' at the World Trade Organization in Geneva.

This first report of the Warwick Commission is the result of a 10 month investigation by a team of 18 commissioners from around the world. The result is a thought-provoking report which reflects the thorough debate had by these experts on the future of the world trade system.

Delivering the Report

Speaking at a recent Warwick Commission event at Chatham House, London, Professor Richard Higgott, Director of the Warwick Commission, explained the importance of dissemination to the Commission and how the report will be highlighted at events around the world.

Chatham House Round Table

In March 2008 the Warwick Commission hosted a special round table discussion debating the recommendations of the first Warwick Commission. Taking part in the debate were Warwick Commissioners Dr Amrita Narlikar, University of Cambridge, and Professor Simon Evenett, University of St. Gallen. Also present were Guy de Jonquières, Senior Research Fellow at Chatham House, and Sheila Page, Senior Research Associate at the Overseas Development Institute.
