Welcome to University's First Year Boards of Examiners site.
Under University Regulation 8, all first-year undergraduate students are assessed at the end of the academic year. The marks of contributing assessments (examinations, essays etc) for the modules they have undertaken over the year are considered by a Faculty-level First -Year Board of Examiners. This is a key milestone in student progression and the University's assurance of the quality of teaching and learning at Warwick.
These pages aim to provide information to staff and students on the operation of the First -Year Boards of Examiners, together with guidance on what to expect and how to navigate the process.

*Please note first-year undergraduate examination results are dealt with by the relevant Faculty Board Secretariat (contacts as above), not by the Examinations Section of the Academic Office and therefore ALL QUERIES RELATING TO FIRST-YEAR BOARDS OF EXAMINERS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE APPROPRIATE FACULTY SECRETARIAT *.
