The University uses an online system (OMR) for most students taking taught degrees to register for their modules and examinations (students based in Warwick Business School, Warwick Medical School and Warwick Manufacturing Group, and undergraduate students in the School of Engineering, should refer to their department for module registration instructions).
Unless you are in one of the departments mentioned above, you will need to use the OMR system to register option modules and assessment methods and/or CATS weights for all your modules as necessary, except that, in 2009/10, students in
Film and Television Studies
will use the e:Vision module registration system to register their modules, in a pilot run of this system. E:Vision is an integrated module of the University's Tribal student record system.
The OMR system is accessed via my.warwick; you will need your ITS username and password in order to be able to log on. Once you have logged on, you will be able to view and/or select your module choices, and you will also have access to a forum where you can raise any queries or make comments. If you are a new student, your department will issue you with a hard copy of the instructions on how to use the system; the instructions may also be found on the links to the left of this screen. If you are a returning student, please consult the online instructions which can be found on the links to the left of this screen.
E:Vision Module Registration (EMR) is also accessed via my.warwick and instructions will be distributed to students via their departments; they are also available via the link to the left of this screen.
All students should read their instructions carefully before logging on to the system.
A list of key dates relating to OMR may be found here: please ensure that you adhere to the stated deadlines.
Please remember that you are ultimately responsible for ensuring you register for the correct modules and assessment methods, and that you do this at the correct times.
We hope that you find the system quick and simple to use. We would appreciate your feedback which you may leave on the OMR forum or via email to email@example.com.
