Re-Sit Examinations: Charges
Boards of Examiners may recommend that candidates re-submit assessed work or re-sit examination papers (n.b. "re-sit" means a second and normally final attempt, for a capped maximum mark of 40% at the undergraduate level and 50% at the Postgraduate level). In such cases a re-sit fee will be charged.
Update 08/07/2020: The University has approved a recommendation from the Students' Union to temporarily abolish additional fees for taking resits.

Degree Apprenticeship Programmes
The above resit fees are only applicable to undergraduate and/or postgraduate taught students (i.e., MA, MSc, MEd). All degree apprentices at the University are exempt from resit charges for resit examinations and re-submitted assessed work.
