The University will be offering a generous package of financial suport for full-time undergraduates starting their courses in 2012. This table will give you a guide to the scholarships and bursaries available for each year of your course.

What are they?
Warwick Undergraduate National Scholarships and Bursaries form a generous programme of financial support worth up to £4,500 a year and are provided by the university to help ensure that a Warwick degree is accessible to all academically talented people regardless of family income. The programme is available to new full-time undergraduate students starting their first degree course in 2012-2013 and is made up of two elements; a fee waiver known as a Warwick National Scholarship and a Warwick Bursary to help with course related costs.
If you are entitled to the maximum funding from the Warwick Undergraduate National Scholarships and Bursaries programme (Warwick USB) you will receive additional financial help of £13,500 over a three year course and £18,000 for a four year course. Support from the programme does not have to be repaid.
Who will receive them?
At Warwick we will expand on the government’s National Scholarship Programme to help fund students from less well off backgrounds. We guarantee an automatic fee waiver (Warwick National Scholarship) to full-time students with family incomes of £25,000 a year or less, who are eligible for a tuition fee loan from the UK Government and who have undertaken their sixth form education within a state school or college in England. The Warwick National Scholarship is worth £2,000 a year for each year of an undergraduate course. This will mean that if you are a qualifying student studying on a course with fees of £9,000 a year (£6,000 for a 2+2 degree student) you will not have to take out a tuition fee loan for the full amount. The amount of loan needed to meet your tuition costs will be £7,000 a year (£4,000 for 2+2 students) and the balance of £2,000 will be covered by the scholarship. Warwick National Scholarships will also be awarded to students who meet the criteria outlined above, but have studied at an independent school in England on a full means-tested bursary or a partial bursary which is clearly indicative of a family income of £25,000 or less.
In addition, Warwick Bursaries of between £500 and £2,500 a year, to help with the costs of studying, will be available to new full-time students educated in the state sector in England and with family incomes of up to £42,600 a year. The maximum bursary of £2,500 a year will be awarded to students with family incomes of £25,000 a year of less. To receive a Warwick Bursary you must also be entitled to a Living Cost (Maintenance) Grant from Student Finance England. Warwick Bursaries will be awarded to students who meet the criteria outlined above, but have studied at an independent school in England on a full means-tested bursary or a partial bursary which is clearly indicative of a family income of £25,000 or less.
How do they work?
Unless you have studied on a bursary at an independent school, you do not have to apply for a Warwick National Scholarship or Warwick Bursary. Students who completed their sixth form education at an independent school should complete the Warwick National Scholarships and Bursaries application form 
. However, you must have applied to Student Finance England (SFE) for government student financial support in the form of student grants and loans. Student Finance England can provide all the financial information we need to approve Warwick USB funding as long as you, and your parents if appropriate, have given consent for SFE to share your financial details with us.
Once SFE have finalised your financial assessment for grants and loans, we will contact you with details of your Warwick USB funding. If you receive a Warwick National Scholarship (a fee waiver) we will advise SFE to reduce your tuition fee loan accordingly. Warwick Bursaries will be paid termly by the Student Loans Company on behalf of the University directly into students’ bank accounts.
