Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Funding
General Information on EPSRC PhD FundingThe Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) offers PhD funding for UK and EU students in relevant disciplines. Academic departments are allocated a number of awards directly by the EPSRC, and if you would be interested in such an award you should contact the academic department where you intend to study directly. There is not normally a central University competition for EPSRC awards. Certain specific EPSRC-funded projects also seek to recruit new PhD students. These opportunities will be posted on the department scholarships webpages as and when they emerge. Joint EPSRC and POST Postgraduate Initiative 2012EPSRC has announced a three month secondment opportunity to the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) open to current EPSRC funded PhD students. All current Warwick EPSRC funded postgraduate students registered for a PhD or EngD (except first year students) who will still be studying in March 2012 are eligible to apply. Deadline for applications: This deadline has now closed. See full details. EPSRC Doctoral Training CentreWMG is home to an EPSRC International Doctoral Training Centre.
