The University is delighted to have been selected as one of the few institutions in the UK to be awarded Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships in Humanities.
Four scholarships of £27,666* per annum will be available to PhD students applying for entry in Autumn 2016 in the areas of History, Literature and Languages.
- Scholarships will be available at the level of £27,666* per annum for a maximum of three years.
- This includes full payment of the academic course fees and a maintenance payment of the remaining funds. The maintenance payment will be paid directly to the award holder to enable them to utilise the funds for research and training costs.
*This is based on figures for 2015/16 entry and is subject to change.
- Applicants must be applying for a full-time PhD (or MPhil/PhD) course at the University of Warwick, expecting to begin in Autumn 2016;
- Applicants must be applying to a department within the Arts Faculty or the Philosophy Department

Applicants can apply for a Wolfson Scholarship by completing the Joint Postgraduate Admissions and Scholarship Application form. If you are eligible for this scholarship you will be asked if you would like to be considered for funding as part of your application to the University. Please select YES at this point and you will be invited to complete further information that will form the basis of your application for this Scholarship.
The Application deadline for this year’s competition is 11:59pm (GMT) on Wednesday 13th January 2016.
