Induction Checklist
This checklist is designed to help make sure that you have done everything you need to do before arriving at Warwick or during your first weeks. You can use the link on the right if you would like a printable version of this.
Before you arrive
Essential
- Submit your photograph online
- Enrol online
- Print your Certificate of Enrolment or make a note of the Certificate number
- Register for your IT Services account
- Accept your accommodation offer (Warwick Accommodation website)
- Organise payment of your tuition fees
- Join Warwick Sport online
- Sign up for your eating@Warwick card
- Research the Library's Get Started sessions online
Useful
- Fill in the Health Centre registration form
- Have two passport-sized photographs taken for when you arrive in your accommodation
- Research bank accounts, open account
On arrival and first weeks
Essential
- Move into your accommodation
- Collect your University card
- Register with the Health Centre
- Attend the Vice-Chancellor's welcome address
- Attend your Academic department induction session(s)
- Work out your timetable for the first weeks
- Visit the Student Experience fair
- Visit the Students' Union fairs, events and activities
Useful
- Tell family and friends your new address
- Open your bank account (if not done already)
- Buy TV licence (if applicable)
