FAQs

How Do I Order A Prospectus?
Visit our Ordering a Prospectus page, and choose which one you need - Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Lifelong Learning. Complete the order form with your postal address and we will do the rest. In the meantime, don't forget each of them is available online.

What information about undergraduate degrees can I get from Warwick?
The main source of information is the Undergraduate Prospectus, which is also available online. In addition, most academic departments produce their own course brochures or literature, and these are available from the departments direct. Telephone numbers are listed in the prospectus, or you can access each department.

Can I visit the Warwick campus?
Yes, you have a number of options.  You can visit on an organised Open Day, when you will experience what life is like at Warwick through opportunities to attend general information sessions on the University (such as an accommodation information session), to meet current teaching staff and attend subject information sessions, and to meet current students who will guide you on a tour of campus and give you first hand information about life on campus.  You can visit on one of the dates in our Warwick Visits Programme which offers the chance for a structured introduction to the University in small friendly groups, including a short presentation, a tour of campus and the chance to ask questions with a current student.  Alternatively, you can visit the campus at a time to suit you - simply contact the Student Admissions and Recruitment Admissions Office, who will supply you with a pack of information which will help you to have a successful visit.

Can I Just Turn Up for an Open Day?
Sorry, no. We need to know how many people we are expecting, and what they plan to do when they visit, so that we can plan each event effectively (i.e. make sure the rooms are big enough, and enough people are around to help). It is therefore important that you book in advance. Booking for Warwick Open Days can be completed online. For information on dates and how to book for Warwick Visits, click here.

Where do I find the Student Admissions and Recruitment Office?
All enquiries should be made to the Student Reception on the Ground Floor of University House.  Someone there will put you in touch with the right person withing SARO.

Is there anybody available to visit schools to give advice to Year 12/13 students about applying to Higher Education?
Yes! We welcome the opportunity to visit schools to give talks on general application strategy, the UCAS procedure, and a wide range of other topics. However, we don't always have somebody available, so we are unfortunately unable to accept every invitation that we receive. Please put your request into writing and send it to the Student Admissions and Recruitment Office student.recruitment@warwick.ac.uk.

Who do I contact about an Admissions Query?
If you are applying for an Undergraduate degree, contact the Student Admissions and Recruitment Office on 024 7652 3723. If it is a Postgraduate Degree, contact the Postgraduate Admissions Team on 024 7652 4585. If you are an international student, you can also talk to the International Office on 024 7652 3706.

Alternatively, you can talk to the relevant academic department - just ask for their Admissions Tutor.

Where do I find Information on Student Finance?
There are a number of places you can contact. The DfES will provide all the standard information you will need, and your Local Education Authority (LEA) should also be able to help. While you are studying at Warwick, you can talk to Advice and Welfare in the Student's Union, or the University's own Financial Adviser.
