From November 2005 the Academic Quality and Standards Committee has been the institutional locus for policy around the prevention and detection of plagiarism in students' work.

Plagiarism is covered by Regulation 11, Regulations Governing the Procedure to be Adopted in the Event of Suspected Cheating in a University Test.
