If you are a postgraduate student who wishes to live as a couple with your partner, then you have three options:

• apply for a premium studio at Liberty Park (overseas students only)
• find a flat in the private sector
• find private lodgings

Accommodation Options

We have reserved 20 premium studios in Liberty Park for postgraduate couples. These spacious studios are ideal for couples as they have a separate bathroom and fully fitted kitchenette. Information about the studios is here.

Liberty Park is an en suite hall of residence managed by Liberty Living. Located in the Earlsdon area of Coventry, the hall is just a few minutes’ walk from bus stops and the bus journey to the University is only 20 minutes.

You may only apply for a Liberty Park studio if you are a new student on a full time postgraduate degree (taught or research) and you pay fees at the overseas (non-EU) rate (as stated in your course offer). To apply, you need to complete the online postgraduate accommodation application form. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.

Private rented housing

Private rented housing is available near to the University in Coventry and Kenilworth and also in Leamington, which is a 30 minute bus ride away. The Warwick Students Union website has advice on private rented housing including house-hunting, checking tenancy agreements, repairs and deposits.

Lodgings

You may prefer to rent a room within a private residence for the duration of your stay or just for a short period on arrival whilst you look for private rented accommodation. If so, please take a look at our Private Lodgings List for details of self-catered lodgings.
