HEAR - Information for Employers

  • From summer 2012, all graduates at undergraduate level will be issued with a Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR);
  • The HEAR reflects both students' academic and extracurricular achievements, which have been verified by the University of Warwick;
  • Graduates are able to share their HEAR with employers by using a secure electronic token.

The HEAR reflects both students’ academic and extracurricular achievements, which have been verified by the University of Warwick. Further information about what is recorded in the Warwick HEAR is available here.

Receiving or requesting a HEAR

Undergraduate students at Warwick will first receive a HEAR during their 1st year via their GradIntelLink opens in a new window account. The Student Records team create Gradintel accounts for first year students after their first term and will subsequently generate HEARs after that. Once the Gradintel accounts have been created, a registration email will be sent to students which includes a Gradintel account activation link that is valid for 30 days. Please note that the agreed module marks and credits will not be displayed on the HEAR until the end of each academic year.

The HEAR status will remain as formative while students are still studying and will be finalised shortly after their course is completed and they graduate. Students/alumni will be able to apply for further courses or employment by sharing secure access to their HEAR with third parties. This means that students no longer have to request printed transcripts to dispatch to employers or other higher education institutions.
