Strand 1: Measurement of Learning Gain

'A longitudinal study which aims to understand core dimensions of student Learning Gain (LG), develop LG measurement instrument and perform analyses of collated data'

Strand 2:
R2 Strengths

'Finalist undergraduates will complete the R2 Strengths profile. Their unique Strengths will help to inform and prepare them for the graduate recruitment and selection process'

Strand 3: Career Adaptabilities

'Tracking of student cohorts across multiple academic years, allowing Careers Advisors to provide individual advice, guidance and support to students who have specific career progression aims'

Strand 4: International Experiences

'Researching self-perceived employability learning gains of students that partcipate in Work Abroad, Study Abroad or On Campus within a HE environment'

About Legacy

Legacy lightbulbThe Learning and Employability Gain Assessment CommunitY Project (LEGACY), is a collaborative research project involving 18 Russell Group universities, it aims to measure and evaluate learning gain in higher education in England. The project will measure variances in knowledge, skills, work-readiness and personal development of students through developed measurement tools, analysis of experiences and implementation of careers advice and support. The LEGACY project will conclude in September 2018 and is part funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE)
