  • participate in discussions and groups
  • organise workload and work to deadlines
  • develop opinions and propose ideas
  • adapt to new situations and cultures.

Options for CAL students

75% of postgraduates who responded to this survey were in employment six months after graduation. Six graduates had continued with further study, some part-time whilst working, others had gained scholarships or grants and were studying full-time.

Of those entering employment a large number were using the skills and knowledge developed through their Master's teaching in Argentina, Mainland China, Denmark, Greece, South Africa and Taiwan, primary and secondary through to language schools. Other graduates were working in the education sector engaged in the development of teaching materials, research and publishing.

All but one of those responding to the survey who graduated from undergraduate degrees in this year went on to further study, mostly at Master's level, in a variety of subjects including: mass communication, development economics, political science, management and marketing, gender and international development and publishing.

Develop your skills further

Whilst you are at Warwick you have the opportunity to join societies, become a volunteer, work part-time and to develop your personal skills.
