Advice for Staff

[c]

Careers support for Warwick staff.

Whether you are:

  • Actively seeking to change your career
  • Applying for a promotion
  • At risk of redundancy

It can be helpful to take time to reflect on some fundamental questions.  Change creates an opportunity to review what you want and what’s important to you.

  1. If you are at risk of redundancy you will be offered an initial consultation with a Careers Consultant (of up to 1 hour), which you will be shown a range of careers resources and agree a plan.  If required, 2 further follow up consultations can be available (which may be face to face, via email or over the telephone). These appointments must be held before employment at the University comes to an end.
  2. Other staff can access one 40 minute Careers appointment with a Careers Consultant.

We aim to respond to requests within 10 working days (during term time) and 5 working days (out of term time).

If you wish to access the service, please contact  Anne Wilson on 024 76575508 or via email A dot E dot Wilson at warwick dot ac dot uk

Anne will either offer you an appointment or arrange an appointment with another Careers Consultant.

Career Progression website by the Learning Development Centre has useful information about, applications, interviews and progressing your career.
